The skill tree is broken down by the level your character
must be at before you can attain the skill(Clvl). The Clvl that you must attain
increases by one level with each point that you put into the skill. For example:
If you save up two skill points to put into a Clvl 6 skill; as soon as you put
the first point in you must be at Clvl 7 to put the second skill point into the
skill. Also, at least one point must be invested in each prerequisite skill(This
is denoted by the arrow system in the skill trees. In order to get a higher Clvl
skill you must have at least one point in each of the skills along its branch of
the skill tree).
Here is your main source of slowing down enemies and
protecting yourself against a direct assault. You have on the right branch a set
of magical armor that will progressively get better, adding protection to slow
down your enemy and retaliate with some bolts of cold. The rest of the spells
contain different methods of delivery a cold blow to your enemy. These will also
slow your enemy by freezing them. Watch closely for Frozen Orb, as it will shoot
many bursts of cold that will damage the enemy you shoot at and freeze enemies
it passes over. Cold Mastery will prove useful if you wish to be proficient in
the cold arts. It is a passive skill that will lower the resistance your enemies
have against your cold attacks from this tree.
