The skill tree is broken down by the level your character must be at before you can attain the skill(Clvl). The Clvl that you must attain increases by one level with each point that you put into the skill. For example: If you save up two skill points to put into a Clvl 6 skill; as soon as you put the first point in you must be at Clvl 7 to put the second skill point into the skill. Also, at least one point must be invested in each prerequisite skill(This is denoted by the arrow system in the skill trees. In order to get a higher Clvl skill you must have at least one point in each of the skills along its branch of the skill tree).

Remember auras will benefit not only you but also your 'friends' around you(For friends to benefit, they m ust be set to 'friendly'). The auras contained herein will help to further your attacking ability and aid in your Combat Skills. The left branch will help to give bonuses to your melee attacking, speed of your attack, chance to hit, etc. The middle section are to be used carefully. Do not get caught trying to use Holy Freeze when your enemy is immune to cold(and likewise for Holy Fire and Holy Shock). The last branch(right) will help in a more defensive pattern. Thorns, Sanctuary, and Conviction will help deal damage when you are attacked, protect you agains the undead, and and lower enemy AC.
